Advanced PLSQL 11g Up

Structure

As the name applies, this course provides Delegates with PLSQL knowledge including the latest 11g techniques, this is a course for Delegates who may have attended our PLSQL I course previously and/or are competent PLSQL Developers already.

The course assumes that the Developer is aware of earlier techniques and therefore brings them up to speed with innovations and development in Oracle 10g and 11g versions of the PLSQL engine, for example the looping techniques of Loop Continue and Continue When are examined in detail, whereas it is assumed that Developers are sufficiently conversant with Looping itself.

New triggering techniques such Compound triggers are introduced and practised as well as the use of Bulk processing and Dynamic SQL.

The Essential Oracle 9i PLSQL course is designed to be a fundamentals of PLSQL programming course covering the structure and syntax of all the main areas of the PLSQL language; Implicit and Explicit Cursors, Declaration and usage of Variables, Reading and Writing from the Operating System, Creating Triggers, Functions and Procedures etc.

Two Day PLSQL II course Up

Structure

Picking up where we left off in the Essential PLSQL course, the PLSQL II course concentrates on more advanced features of PLSQL.

Techniques such as Overloading Modules, Use of Nocopy, Instead Of and System triggers are all introduced and practised.

Finally the Delegate will learn to use Bulk SQL and Associate Arrays (Index by Tables).
