Fundamentals of Java Course

Our Fundamentals of Java course covers all aspects of the Java product, from simple Java applications run on the DOS command line to Java Swing applications for more advanced GUI capabilities, both as an application and as a Java Applet embedded in HTML.

This 5-day Java training course comes with a complete set of working examples, plenty of practical exercises that work through the Java language as well as a set of in-depth manuals spanning over 950 pages.

Java Programming Course

The 3-day Java Programming course splits learning Java into two distinct product areas - Java Programming and OOPs (Object Orientated Programming). The first part of the Java training course covers the structure, concepts and theories behind Java, looking at basic Applications, handling variables and dates. The second parts enables delegates to learn about OOP concepts.

This 3-day course equips delegates with a sound intermediate knowledge of Java Programming and we recommend it should be followed by a future course in Java Swing Development to fully optimise all areas of knowledge.

Java Swing Development

Java Swing Development is the suite of classes and methods which allows a Developer to produce professional standard GUI front ends, either as an Application or an Applet. Its predecessor was called AWT and while Swing more or less replaces it, the course does cover some of the classes which still use AWT.

This intensive 3-day Java training course is recommended for those who have already attended our Java Programming training course or for established Java programmers wanting to learn more about Java Swing.
