Fast becoming the standard programming language for both Commercial and College enterprises, Java is an essential skill for
Developers wishing to maintain their 'sellability' in the market place.
Anyone who has had more than a cursory glance at Java will realise the depth of the product, the number of classes and methods available and
the richness of the Java system.
Seer has developed three courses dealing with the fundamental aspects of Java, these have been designed to maximise the learning experience for
anyone with no, some or a reasonable knowledge of the concepts of Java Programming.
The "Fundamentals of Java" course covers all aspects of the Java product from simple Java applications run on the DOS command line to Java Swing
applications which covers the more advanced GUI capabilities of Java, both as an application and as a Java Applet embedded in HTML.
Its a five day course and comes with a complete set of working examples, plenty of practical exercises to work through the Java language as well as a
set of manuals which span over 950 pages covering topics in a depth seldom found in detail in 'expert books' on the subject.
The "Java Programming" course is for people who wish to split learning Java into the two distinct areas of the product, Java Programming covers the
structure, concepts and theories behind Java, looking at basic Applications, handling variables, dates, and Oops concepts (Object Orientated Programming), this
is a three day course and we'd recommend that it should be followed at some point by the following Java training course ...
"Java Swing Development", Java Swing is the suite of classes and methods which allows a Developer to produce professional standard GUI front ends, either
as an Application or an Applet, its predecessor was called AWT and while Swing more or less replaces it, the course does cover some of the classes which still
use AWT.
Its a three day course and only recommended to delegates who have already attended our "Java Programming" training course or are established Java programmers
who wish to learn more about Java Swing.
Hands on is vital in such a functionally rich product and supported by one of our Consultants, Delegates will spend over 50% of the course using Java
in practical and stimulating application on all three of the above courses.
Each topic is introduced and developed with working code and is written by our own consultants who are currently working on a major commercial project,
these courses are for anyone needing a solid grounding in the Java toolset, download the index of the courses to review the structure and depth of their
format.
Seer Computing is currently developing three further courses to complement their already popular Java training courses,
these are the "Working with Java and Oracle", "JavaScript" and the "Advanced Java" courses.
In addition the "JDeveloper" course which deals more with Oracle's generation of Java modules will soon be available from us.
Why are we different?
