Synopsis for PHP 7.3 Programming training course

We've had many people come up to us in the street and ask us what is PHP? (!) Well to us it means the best programmer language to use when creating dynamic and vivid webpages, of course there will be other tools necessary to assist PHP, for example, HTML, this is the easy to learn rendering language of all Internet browsers and without it all the 'machinery' of PHP cannot be used to produce the final product.

Can PHP be used for other purposes other than creating webpages like this one ? Yes indeed, we use PHP to read files in from an Operating System and to populate MySQL and Oracle Databases, is can also be used to review existing webpages for spelling errors or missing tags, its use is only limited by your application.

As well as PHP, there is JavaScript, this gives the programmer the ability to interact with the webpage user, as we said earlier, PHP can be used to produce dynamic and vivid webpages, but it is limited to the initial setup of the webpage. In order to accept input from the user we need to embed JavaScript 'scripts', these allow forms for example, to accept and process user input (there's one on the page – click on the image for it when you need to contact us about this or any of our other training courses). Once the form is complete, the 'Ok' button will fire PHP to send your details to us or write to the Database.

So ideally you need a PHP and a JavaScript course (you'll pick up HTML on either of these courses), you might want to think about our Essential CSS course as well, this is an important part of the website creative structures and it doesn’t just control the colour of the text !!, think also about using PHP to read and write to a Database, we combine this version of PHP on another course, with MySQL to create a five day course which deals with the two languages, PHP and SQL talking to each other. By the way, our Essential JavaScript training course is an additional four day duration.

Both the JavaScript and PHP/MySQL courses are available onsite and throughout the year we give public training courses in various centres in the UK and Ireland, the courses are the same but the public courses are more suited to when it is only yourself attending, onsite is better when you have more than one delegate, you want to choose the start date or location or when you basically want you people to be trained without the hassle of them being away on hotels etc ..

Each and every course we give from our 140+ catalogue (see the menu list) of training courses comes with a comprehensive manual, a CD of the exercise solutions and a pen … Oh you have lots of pens but these have a light on the end of them, they are great to make notes with and will write in any language you want it to … and you'll remember us until the ink runs out at least !

Contact us for further information, our training advisors are available 24/7, ok we lied we like them to have some sleep so that they are bright and alert to answer your questions about the training, so if you contact us during the working week they'll be on hand to help, send us an email at other times and we'll get back to you as soon as we can (generally within the hour).

Take a look at the rest of this page, we publish the content of the course as well as our contact details … oh and there's the JavaScript / PHP enquiry form for you to fill in.
