Our offices are in Swansea, so you get to see where we slave over hot laptops, Dylan Thomas a famous son of Swansea called it an 'ugly, lovely town' and while he did write that in the 1950s it hasn’t changed that much, Swansea sits on the end of a glorious bay which can be seen from our offices ( well on the third floor anyway), we are conveniently situated a brisk walk from the train station and there is public parking nearby, plus because it's our home we'll take you for a curry one evening, Swansea has a great selection of curry houses, not to mention Verdi's ice cream, if you're good we'll treat you one lunchtime to one … that’s a promise.

Let's talk about the IT training courses, this page lists all of the ones we perform at public venues throughout the UK and Ireland, these are the most popular and the most recent software version-wise but we have many more training courses available, all of these are available onsite at your venue and of course, in-house at our venue, so if you need an older version of Java, a course in Oracle Discoverer etc. then we can come to you or you can come to us. So now we are not talking about just the courses on this page, we are talking about all of the courses we perform; we commence at 9am each day, the courses are broken up with exercises in the day for the Delegates to practice what we preach! There's plenty of coffee and tea throughout the courses, biscuits a plenty (jammie dodgers are our favourites) plus we provide lunch, we hope to complete each day at 4.15pm but we are happy if you need more time to complete the last exercise or if you want to go over some points presented during the day. We encourage interaction during the course, if you don’t understand something … Ask, if we touched upon a scenario which is happening in your work … Ask, we are here to help you enjoy and learn from our courses.

Discount rates are available if two are more delegates are booked on a course from your Organisation, but we can also talk about onsite training, it would save your guys coming to us and we are happy to bring our workshops to you, all we need is a room suitable for us to work in, basically plenty of elbow room for the Delegates to be comfortable in.

Each course we give comes with a comprehensive manual, packed full of working examples as well as the course notes, with it comes the CD for the course and the Delegates get to keep both, each Delegate also has an individual workstation for the duration of the course, occasionally we get a request for colleagues to work together on the same machine … happy to oblige.

What's the weather like in Swansea?

The listed scheduled courses are held in a number of different locations in Swansea throughout the year, each location is centrally based, close to public transport, parking etc.

Lunch is provided as is coffee and tea throughout the day.

Special dietary requirements can be catered for providing we are given notice at the time of booking.

Each Delegate will have an individual workstation for the duration of the course.

Our manuals are printed on 120gsm paper and very robust, in addition, we supply pens etc for the Delegates.

The courses given on scheduled dates in Swansea represent less than 10% of all the courses we have available, all the courses are listed in the menus.

Courses not part of the schedule in Swansea, can be performed anywhere in the UK and Ireland, at your premises, at ours or at a location convenient to your offices.

Whether paying for Database Consultancy, Project Management or a Training Course, we can accept payment by cheque, BACS or credit card (credit card payment is subject to a 3% surcharge).

All quotations given will be in either Euro or Sterling depending on your location and your preference, and will be honoured for six months from the date of issue, all prices given are inclusive of all costs incurred by Seer Computing but exclusive of UK vat of 20%.
