This is Edinburgh, Auld Reekie, the capital of Scotland for over 500 years, yet it feels like a small town, you can walk it in a day but there is always something different to see each time we visit it with our public courses. The courses are scheduled throughout the year and are listed separately on this page, click on the links to see the full details, these selected training courses are only a proportion of the courses we do offer, these and the remainder of our training stock are available as onsite courses at your venue or you can come to our offices in Swansea.

All of our training courses held in Edinburgh are centrally located, normally within walking distance of Waverley station and with ample parking spaces, we start at 9am but come a little early for a coffee and a chat and to settle down before we begin, the course size is kept to a maximum of 6 Delegates unless they are all from the same Company and in which case we generally recommend onsite training anyway. There is no minimum number so we guarantee we will never cancel a course if for some reason it is under subscribed, once you've booked the course it will take place.

All one hundred of our courses have the same format (with different subject!), our Consultant introduces a new topic, it is discussed, demonstrated then it is the Delegate's chance to practice it in one of the many exercises that occur in regular intervals during the course. These exercises are designed to increase the Delegate's knowledge and also give them confidence that they understand the concept. It's also a good time to take a break, stretch your legs and grab a refreshment. Lunch is provided and generally it’s a time to talk with other Delegates and the Trainer, back to the machines (each Delegate has their own to work on) and the course will wind up each day at around 4.15pm but we don’t mind working on to help those who need more time or want to go over some points of the subject.

All courses come with a comprehensive manual and a solutions CD, if you click on any of the courses listed on this page or indeed any of the 100 courses listed in the website, the index is displayed of the course content, this can be downloaded for your reference but we also send you a copy when we send you a quotation for the training. Regarding our quotations, they are valid for six months so even if you just looking for prices at the moment and need to get permission from your Line Manager we freeze the quote until you are able to take the training.

What's the weather like in Edinburgh?

The listed scheduled courses are held in a number of different locations in Edinburgh throughout the year, each location is centrally based, close to public transport, parking etc.

Lunch is provided as is coffee and tea throughout the day.

Special dietary requirements can be catered for providing we are given notice at the time of booking.

Each Delegate will have an individual workstation for the duration of the course.

Our manuals are printed on 120gsm paper and very robust, in addition, we supply pens etc for the Delegates.

The courses given on scheduled dates in Edinburgh represent less than 10% of all the courses we have available, all the courses are listed in the menus.

Courses not part of the schedule in Edinburgh, can be performed anywhere in the UK and Ireland, at your premises, at ours or at a location convenient to your offices.

Whether paying for Database Consultancy, Project Management or a Training Course, we can accept payment by cheque, BACS or credit card (credit card payment is subject to a 3% surcharge).

All quotations given will be in either Euro or Sterling depending on your location and your preference, and will be honoured for six months from the date of issue, all prices given are inclusive of all costs incurred by Seer Computing but exclusive of UK vat of 20%.
